From local operation to the control centre
For this movable bridge we renewed the control system and the SCADA operation, so that the bridge can be operated safely and remotely from the control centre, with camera images, marine radio and full process monitoring.
The project covered functional design, software engineering, an extensive test programme (FAT/SAT) and delivery in line with the applicable infrastructure standards.
Scope
PLC control, SCADA (WinCC OA), camera operation and integrations.
Testing & delivery
FAT/SAT and delivery with an on-site inspection.
Result
The bridge is now operated from the control centre, with the entire process in view.
